The East Williamson County Higher Education Center (EWCHEC) is a multi-institutional teaching center providing a wide array of educational opportunities and workforce readiness programs to all of East Williamson County with two locations in Hutto and Taylor.

Temple College, Texas State Technical College Waco and Texas A&M University – Central Texas have united in a visionary partnership to bring college degrees and workforce readiness programs with certificate and licensure career and technical education to the residents of Williamson County. Students can complete a certificate, associate, bachelor or master’s degree all in one location.

Temple College

Temple College is a comprehensive community college offering an array of technical and academic programs leading toward certificate and associate degrees. The two-year Associate of Arts Degree is a great starting point for students who plan to continue work toward a bachelor’s degree at a four-year university. TC classes can be taken at locations in Hutto, Taylor, and Temple or through our online portal.

Texas State Technical College

TSTC offers several certificate and associate programs at the EWCHEC-Hutto location. These technical programs are designed to get students the educational training needed to meet the high-tech challenges of today’s global economy.

Texas A&M University Central Texas

Texas A&M University-Central Texas is an upper-level university located in Killeen, Texas, offering coursework needed to successfully complete baccalaureate and graduate degrees. TAMU-CT offers courses at the EWCHEC-Hutto location.
