We offer classroom training, online learning, and organizational consulting to meet various needs for up-to-date skills, trends, and certifications. Our corporate training provides skills training programs for Central Texas businesses customized to meet specific requests.


EWCHEC-Hutto offers the convenience of going from a certificate to a graduate degree all in one location through Temple College’s partnerships with Texas State Technical College and Texas A&M University-Central Texas.

  • Apply for admission
  • Request official transcripts from high school and colleges attended
  • Submit proof of bacterial meningitis vaccination with last 5 years if under 22 years old

Avery Family Library & Learning Resource Center
  • Interlibrary Loan – Books can be requested through the main campus in Temple or through interlibrary loan. A student I.D. is preferred but not required for checking out and requesting material. Please allow 2-5 business days for requested items to arrive.
  • Reserves – Professors have placed many of the required textbooks for classes on hold at the library. These books are available to be used in the library for reading or copying.
  • Databases – The library has access to many academic journals through various databases. In addition to journal and magazine articles, there are film databases and eBooks as well. Help is available for those needing assistance with online and digital resources.
  • Study Rooms – The library has two study rooms available for group work or individual study. No reservations are needed. The rooms are available on a first come, first served basis at this time.
  • TexShare – Currently enrolled students are eligible to take advantage of TexShare services. Pick up a card at the library desk and use it at any participating university or public library to check out material. **Please remember that library policies vary and may have special guidelines for TexShare users.
  • Writing Assistance – Come visit the library for assistance with researching and writing class assignments.

EWCHEC Café and Bookstore are right next door to the library. Feel free to come inside the library and relax while you study. Snacks and beverages in containers with lids are welcome.

Students can purchase their books and enjoy shopping for Temple College and TSTC gear as well as other classroom necessities at the bookstore, located in the EWCHEC commons next to the library. Adjacent to the bookstore, the Café offers fresh coffee, sodas, snacks and lunch items like sandwiches, burgers and kolaches.

Buy or Rent Textbooks

To insure you are purchasing the correct books, please print out a copy of your schedule and bring it with you.

To use Financial Aid please bring in a picture ID and your schedule. Check in with a sales associate to receive your voucher with your allowed charges in the bookstore. You may buy anything in the store with your aid. Each student is only allowed to buy one laptop or tablet and they are on a first come, first served basis and may not be held until a later time.




The Bookstore buys back textbooks all year; however the best time to sell your books is at the end of the semester. To see if your books are eligible for buyback, bring them in along with your photo ID and you could leave with cash!!!!



The Bookstore will gladly offer refunds on merchandise purchased form our store.

  • All receipts must be accompanied by the original invoice or receipt.
  • To receive a full refund on a textbook, it must be returned during the first 5 class days of the semester for which it was purchased.
  • A full refund will be given through the 12th day of class with the original receipt and proof of a dropped class.
  • New books must be returned in the same condition as when purchased with all included materials or inserts. All shrink wrapped books must be returned in the original shrink wrap. Any new book returned with markings or blemishes will be considered for a refund as if it were a used book.
  • All general merchandise can be returned in like condition within 3 days of purchase accompanied by the original receipt.
  • Unfortunately, we cannot refund study guides, class lab manuals, outlines, exam guides, photocopies materials, special items or clearance items.
  • Textbooks or class related items sold during last 2 weeks of classes are not eligible for refunds.
